The Programme
Dublin Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Ireland Chamber
of Commerce and Industry will conduct 12 events, over a two-year period
under
the InterTradeIreland Network+Getwork Programme.
This will afford 50 companies
per event the opportunity to hear, in broad outline terms, the
policy and strategy for 2005/2006 of
12 individual procurement organisations.
The select 50 will have
the opportunity to gain inside knowledge on the procurement company
at a Pre-Event Briefing and will then
have the opportunity to meet with senior procurement staff in
a series of 15-minute one to one meetings on the day of the event.
The programme is
aimed, primarily, at small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),
seeking to raise their game in relation to the requirements and
expectations of large buying companies, city administrations and
multinational companies.
Network+Getwork events are open to all companies, Chamber members and non-members. The procurement organisation reserves the right to select participants based on the submission of a company profile.
Networking is a fundamental
part of the this programme and at all stages of the process the
Network+Getwork team will facilitate as
many valuable introductions as possible.
The networking follows a structured format akin to that of ‘speed-dating’, whereby individuals from participating SMEs are encouraged to meet each other for a 2-3 minute discussion.
