The Pilot Events

Diageo – Pilot Launch Event
Guinness Storehouse, Dublin, 27th November 2004. 12 Diageo buying departments were represented at the event. 70 SMEs (Small to Medium Size Enterprises) attended. 25 NI SMEs and 45 ROI SMEs.

NIE Powerteam
The second event in the series was held in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast in January 2004. NIE were extremely diligent in their selection and whittled numbers down to 51 companies. There were 29 NI companies and 22 ROI companies.

Dublin City Council
This event was held in City Hall Dublin. With this event, there were 19 buyers present and we had approximately 71 companies from NI and ROI. Again the split was approximately 50 ROI SMEs and 21 from NI.

Seagate Technology
The Seagate Technology event was held at the Radisson Roe, Limavady. There were 66 companies in attendance and the buyers were involved throughout the selection process. There were 42 NI SMEs and 24 ROI SMEs.

JurysDoyle Hotels
The Jury’s Doyle event was held in the Berkley Court Hotel, Dublin. There were 11 buyers with 63 companies in attendance. The number of companies was as follows: 17 NI and 46 ROI SMEs.

Belfast City Council
This event was held in the City Hall, Belfast with 14 buyers and 83 companies in attendance. The split of companies was as follows 37 NI SMEs, and 46 ROI SMEs.
