"I have been trying to get an introduction to FG Wilson, under the right circumstances, for over two years and this event provided the perfect opportunity. I'm certain that there is potential there for us to formulate a business relationship and with the right follow-up I see a huge potential to work jointly on a range of solutions for FG Wilson’s customers. Unfortunately some companies were allowed to over-run which put pressure on the people coming behind. My session was cut to around 8 minutes. "Overall the event was effective, with venue, timing and format absolutely spot on.  You have got the presentations down to a tee, with timing and content, much better than before, when these ran on too long. I’m hoping that we get a response from FG Wilson in good time.

Although there is good value in the 1:1 meetings, I again feel that this needs to be longer to enable organisations such as ourselves to really get the message home as to our services, together with reference points, case studies and value add capability.

I thought the management of the event was excellent, and I fully understand and appreciate the difficulties in running such an event with so many interested and participating parties.  My meeting was only 10 minutes behind schedule – that was impressive time management on everyone’s behalf.

The FG Wilson staff were helpful and indeed I spoke at length with Mark Sweeney before I went to meet the buyers.

"I found this event to hold great potential, not only with FG Wilson but also the networking. I found the venue at the Hilton to be excellent as usual, the timing was satisfactory and the format professional.  The presentations where informative and the FG Wilson staff were friendly and approachable, as were the various Chamber staff, some of which I have got to know quite well now. 

There seemed to be plenty of publicity and PR for the event, as with other events preceding this one, but at these events there are photographers from local papers or business magazines, but attendee’s never find out if anything has been printed unless they find out by mistake, I think it would be helpful if the Chamber let you know if you appear in any publications after the events.  I have found all the events I have attended to be very well organised and managed.  I look forward to attending many more in the future." "The event was well organised and all personnel, both Chamber & FG Wilson were more than helpful.

Despite being one of the last sessions the time in-between was useful for networking.

The only disappointment was the buyer had only been with the company 8 weeks and knew nothing about FG Wilson's chemical requirements, products or usage so I came away no better off in the short term - despite this however it has given him a reason to find out and progress his knowledge for an on- site meeting hopefully Jan 2007.

"Not sure about the business potential yet - still have to hear back from FG Wilson. There may be a couple of other opportunities from the networking but nothing in the pipeline yet. The Hilton Hotel was very good and very easy to get to and the timings and the format for the 1:1 meeting was well timed so I could also do a bit of networking afterwards and get on the road before rush hour.
