InterTradeIreland Network+Getwork Programme is an exciting trade development initiative to encourage and assist companies in Ireland and Northern Ireland to explore cross border business opportunities with some of the island’s largest procurement organisations.

The objective of Network+Getwork is to stimulate cross-border trade through the facilitation of meetings for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) throughout Ireland with larger procurement organisations.

Large procurement companies throughout Ireland are invited to host to an event in order to gauge the supplier market with the ultimate aim of expanding their supplier base and/or awarding contracts.

Similarly, small groups of sector-specific organisations (eg. construction, tourism, banking, etc.) can play host to multi-buyer Network+Getwork events.

Benefits of Network+Getwork

The benefits are twofold: the procurement organisations are able to gauge local supplier markets quickly and efficiently from a pre-selected list of event applicants and; the SMEs can avail of a unique ‘foot in the door’ meeting opportunity with a large buying organisation.

Further benefits to participants include:

  • Pre-Event Briefing which includes a procurement presentation to aid meeting expectations and preparation

  • Formal networking arena to meet and discuss with other SMEs in attendance.
