The fourth in the series of six InterTradeIreland Network and Getwork events took place on 3rd December in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast for the Food and Tourism sector. The event was attended by over 70 companies in total from all over Ireland.
The buying organisations, Musgrave Retail Partners, Sodexo, Brake's/O'Kane's, PRM, Crossgar Food Service, NI Prison Service and Regional Supplies Service all met on a one to one basis with companies to explore areas of opportunities for supply in the future. All the participating companies went through a rigorous selection process to be part of the day with the buying organisations choosing the companies they wished to meet with.
NETWORKING AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
Although its early days yet the entire team are confident that business will be done as a result of the event and many participants have indicated that they have follow up meetings organised for the near future with the buyers.
Steve Millership from Crossgar commented that "through the Network and Getwork programme we have been given the opportunity to meet with like-minded companies who share our ethos of quality supply and excellent customer service. We hope that this is the start of some exciting new relationships that not only benefit Crossgar Food Service but also the suppliers from the event."
CONSTRUCTION, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING
The Network and Getwork team are now inviting businesses to register for the opportunity to attend Meet the Construction, Engineering and Environment Buyer Events to be held in March and April 2010.
We can guarantee that key decision makers from these sectors will be attending these events. The participating Network and Getwork companies will get exclusive time to pitch individually throughout the day and also enjoy a lunch and participant to participant networking.
The whole event will be designed and crafted to ensure maximum results for those taking part. It will facilitate early engagement of suppliers, setting up further business development meetings and making sales.
